Welcome to The Judah Kids Project
Welcome to Judah Kids! We’re excited to partner with your family this semester as we create a safe, supportive, Christ-centered environment where students can learn, create, build relationships, and grow. Our goal is for every child to feel known, encouraged, challenged, and like they truly belong.
-
This semester, our students are embarking on a brand-new adventure: Kingdom Quest! Kingdom Quest combines Art, Music, STEM, teamwork, leadership, and faith into hands-on weekly experiences designed to help students discover who they are, how they belong, and how they can use their gifts to impact others.
Students won’t just complete activities—they’ll take on quests, solve challenges, create projects, collect artifacts for their portfolios, and track their progress on their Kingdom Quest map. Volunteers help bring the adventure to life by encouraging curiosity, participation, teamwork, and reflection along the way.

Volume One • Semester One: We Belong
Our first semester centers on a simple but powerful message: every child has a place, a purpose, and something valuable to contribute. In addition to the volunteer crew, a small team from the Judah Kids ASP will be on-site to offer support and take lead when helpful at any point throughout the week. Each One-Week has a curriculum specifically curated to the gifts of the host church’s volunteers. There are, however, a few essentials that must be covered in every week.
Essential Topics: Bible, Board Games, Montessori Stations, Free Play
-
Our afterschool program runs 2:30–6:00 PM, giving students time to transition from school into an afternoon of support, faith, creativity, and community. Students receive a snack, homework help, Bible study, and fine arts activities, moving through the afternoon with their Tribe according to the weekly schedule.
From school pickup through our 6:00 PM dismissal, each part of the day is intentionally designed to help students learn, grow in their faith, explore their creativity, and belong.
-
Throughout the semester, students will save special projects and reflections from their Kingdom Quest journey in their personal portfolios. At the end of the semester, families will be invited to our Kingdom Quest Artifacts Museum, where students can proudly showcase their creations and share what they’ve learned.
Think of it as part art show, part museum, and part celebration—a chance for our kids to say, “Look what I discovered, created, and accomplished!”

Brightwheel: Your Main Connection to Judah Kids
Brightwheel will be our primary communication tool this semester, so every parent should have the app set up and notifications turned on. Through Brightwheel, families can receive messages and alerts, view their child’s information, and stay connected to program updates.
Here’s the easiest way to get started:
Download the Brightwheel app and sign in. Use the email address or phone number connected to your child’s Judah Kids account. If you don’t see your child, contact Judah Kids so we can connect you to their profile.
Open your child’s profile and review their information. Check important details such as contact information, address, allergies, medications, medical notes, and other available profile information. Parents with edit permissions can update these items directly in the app.
Check your child’s contacts and approved pickup list. Make sure the right parents, family members, emergency contacts, and approved pickup people are listed. If you make a pickup change, please also communicate that change directly to Judah Kids.
Turn ON your push notifications. In Brightwheel, go to your profile/settings and make sure notifications—especially Messages & Alerts—are enabled. You may also need to allow Brightwheel notifications in your phone’s Settings app.
Check Brightwheel regularly. This is where we’ll send important Judah Kids communication, reminders, transportation information, schedule changes, and other updates.
Most important: keep your child’s information current and keep those notifications ON! 🔔 Brightwheel works best when Judah Kids and families can communicate quickly in both directions.
